Dinner in the Monterey Bay Aquarium

The High CO2 Conference last week had a dinner in the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Drink tables dotted the larger areas, and had appetizers within sight. Soup and steak were more hidden, and provided neat treats while getting lost in the aquarium. Desserts started popping up about half way through, seemingly out of nowhere.

Alisha's Mom came
The main tanks were open, but the otters (renovation) and penguins (nighttime) were hidden from view.  The newest to me was the Jelly Experience, with hippie-esque exhibits that allowed you to dance and draw with the jellies.

Wicked Delicious

Anyways, enjoy some pics...

Somethings Interesting:
--Google Chrome keeps wanting me to spell Monterey with double r's.

--With climate change and ocean acidification, one theory dictates the ocean will literally become a sea of jellies; having such a neat jelly experience could be dangerous to public feelings on the matter (i.e. they may not think it's that bad).

--I've been this aquarium at least 6 times; I still act like an excited child through the exhibits.
